Kalamunda History Village Excursion

Junior Pioneer Life Tour

Kalamunda History Village

As part of the learning program, the students in Room 9, 10 and 11 will be visiting the Kalamunda History Village on Tuesday, 2 May 2017.

The students will enjoy the Junior Pioneer Life Tour. They will also have the opportunity to explore the village in small groups.

The cost of the excursion is $12.30 and this will need to be returned with the permission slip by Thursday 27 April. We will be leaving school at approximately 9.15am. We will have recess when we arrive at the village and have lunch after the tour. We will be departing from there at approximately 1.45pm and arrive back to school at approximately 2:30pm. Horizons West Bus Company will be transporting us.

Please ensure your child is wearing full school uniform and enclosed shoes on the day of the excursion. Students must bring recess, lunch in a labelled disposable bag and a labelled drink bottle. Students must also ensure they have their school hat.

Students are also required to bring one piece of fruit (apples, oranges, lemons) for ‘grading’ at the history village. Please write your child’s name directly onto the fruit (no sticky labels please).

We do require parent helpers for this excursion. We will be pulling names out of a hat for the selection of parent helpers. If your name is chosen, we will advise you. If your name is chosen but you are unable to assist, we will pull another name out of the hat. We would like to provide a fair opportunity for all parents to assist, but please understand we can only take a certain number with us.

Yours sincerely
